Today I received a strange communique from my hosting company…

(6/22/23)

Behold its complete text for your edification:

Ehhh?

So, anyway, my response:

“Well, that’s creepy. To quote Buffy the Vampire Slayer, could you vague that up for me?”

Maybe they’re just getting ready to rip me off like Comcast, they have been acting very weird for well over a year (i.e. “Can we fix your website?” No, I’m good.; “Surely, you’ll let us ‘fix’ your website?” [-_- Oh, OK, I see…] ).

I have my own site (or did), for the record, to be independent. I paid you “people” good money for exactly that. This is WHY prospective readers can’t find me on twitter, creepface/beta and whatever comprises the rest!

Be prepared I guess for me to be banned or something. I don’t know. Either way, I won’t be “consolidated” by google or any other.

(EDIT (1?)) NO kidding, my internet gateway went out, two minutes ago just after I’d posted the above. Unlike lately, it’s sunny outside, and clear and hot like it’s supposed to be.
