(01/27/20) Three more libraries have adopted the hardcover edition of my book! Thanks to the brand spanking new and gorgeous Shannon Staub Public Library in Sarasota County, Florida, the North Fort Myers Public Library in Lee County, Florida, as well as the Georgetown County Library up in South Carolina! Twenty-eight separate libraries now have collected my book across seven US States and Germany.
The adoption rate has been really good for libraries that I have had the opportunity to visit in person. If only I could visit more—go on a Johnny Appleseed style book tour across the country—but I have neither the time nor the money for such an endeavor.
We’ve been working on our house a lot lately. It’s an older place we’re trying to get updated, but that’s been slow, and so has my current work in progress. I’d love to tell you more about it at this time, but it’s not quite ready for that yet. I will say this, however: if I ever get the thing finished it’s going to be a lot bigger than AWB, potentially even a series. And the genre is entirely different as well. I learned a lot writing AWB, and have no doubts about what this new manuscript has in store for me.
[EDIT NOTE: This post was modified on 1/29 to add Lee county]
