A special note on pronunciation for any who’ve come over: “Galan” is actually GALEN/GAY-LYNN when pronounced, even though I admit GALLON seems more correct. “Birk” is another name I should also clarify. Scandinavian in origin, it should be pronounced like BEER with a K.
